On Thursday September 20, 2012, Bravo revealed the revamped cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”. Joining the cast is newlywed Porsha Stewart, described as an “Atlanta-raised socialite married to NFL star Kordell Stewart” the former Porsha Williams is one of the two newest RHOA.
Porsha Stewart is a budding music artist, and her website, PorshaStewart.com says she is a newlywed who enjoys helping her stepson Syre with his homework.

On her website, Stewart describes herself a “True Georgia Peach” and a “True Atlanta Housewife” who fills her days with PTA meetings, music studio sessions, volunteering and family time. In spare moments this “Girly Glam Girl” enjoys quiet personal picnics in the park, reading favorite novels, yoga and afternoon dips in her pool.

The former Porsha Williams, granddaughter of civil rights leader Rev. Hosea Williams, married former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart in January 2012. The wedding was planned by Tiffany Nieves-Cook, Platinum Weddings Planner. Kordell Stewart, who played the majority of his career for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is an analyst for ESPN News, providing post-game coverage. He officially retired from the NFL on May 30, 2012.
Season five of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” premieres Sunday Nov. 4, 2012 at 9:00 p.m. on Bravo.

Tiffany Nieves-Cook now Tiffany Cook excited to team up again with Porsha Stewart



It is wonderful when I have the ability to work with my wonderful clients beyond their wedding. I had the pleasure of working with Porsha Williams now Porsha Stewart on her spectacular wedding last year in Atlanta. I am excited to team up again with Porsha Stewart on the Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless Charity Event Fundraiser and a fabulous 40th Birthday Party for her husband Kordell Stewart. I will be planning and designing both events from our Tiffany Cook Events office in Atlanta in collaboration with Furious Entertainment.

Q: If a bride wants to use bold, bright colors in her decor, what advice do you have for pulling that off the right way? For couples on a budget, are there more reasonable ways to make a splash with color, without spending a fortune on flowers?
Bold colors can be a bit tricky when it comes to wedding décor, but if done right can be spectacular. Try to focus on using two to three colors and use them in concentrated ways. For example, if using bright bold colors such as tangerine, lime and fuchsia, rather than choosing one as a backdrop color and mixing the other two through out; I would opt to mix and match all three. I would use tangerine and lime dupioni silk linens (the fabric used can make or break these colors for linens) with bold fuchsia centerpieces. Being careful to keep the tablescape cohesive, I would use square white charger plates with lime green napkins folds on the tangerine tables and tangerine napkin folds on the lime tables. Completing this look with custom created menus in white with a wide fuchsia ribbon, and custom table numbers layered in all three colors in a geometric type pattern. Using the colors in organized, well thought out ways will pull everything together without looking matchy-matchy. So dare to be bright and bold with your colors. Just remember to be consistent in your color usage, add a little imagination, and it will be spectacular!
