The venue that Miranda & AJ chose had to be what the industry call a "room flip" meaning the ceremony and reception were in the same location. Our team had to flip the ceremony into the reception during the couples cocktail hour. This is challenging with a regular wedding but with a high production decor intensive wedding like this one it took precision planning and execution. We extended the couples cocktail hour to 90 minutes which we went over a bit due to the elaborate elements that had to be in place. 

The challenges of the room flip also gave us the ability to be creative with decor elements such as the ceremony canopy. We transformed the ceremony canopy from billowing flowing fabric with bling/ crystal accents to a total sparkling bling structure to surround the couples stunning wedding cake.

Sneak peek at the magical Earl Thomas wedding as marries his true love Nina Baham-Heisser

Out of tragedy comes a real life fairy tale love story. Yesterday Seattle Seahawks Safety Early Thomas married his high school sweetheart Nina Baham- Heisser in at a castle Houston. Recently dubbed King Earl Thomas the III & his Queen Nina Thomas tied the knot Saturday at a wedding fit for a King & Queen and their little princess of course.

While Earl did in fact marry his high school sweetheart most are unaware the couple met due to a devastating tragedy. The couple met in 2005 when hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans and Nina & her family were forced to evacuate the city. Nina's family could not return to their home in New Orleans which was destroyed by the hurricane. The family made Orange Texas their new home where Nina enrolled in West Orange - Stark high school where  Earl attended high school and where they met and fell in love. After years of dating in high school, college and through his NFL career Earl surprised Nina and proposed during his football camp in 2015.

Happy New Year!! Welcome 2016!!

2015 was an incredible year here at Tiffany Cook Events! With Mr Cook & I doing a ton of biz travel including 2 weeks in Europe venue shopping for clients in between planning and venue shopping domestically for clients, TV segments, engagement parties, birthday parties and of course weddings I have neglected our blog. Not by choice but due to lack of time and I since I insist on personally overseeing all the blog posts much to Mr. Cook's dismay we fell way behind.

Over the next two months we should be caught up with all our blogs from 2015 including and one from the end of 2014 (yikes) but I couldn't post that one until after their wedding.
