Last week our post focused on dance floors.  Well, we know some of our party animal brides don’t get to appreciate their dancer monograms as much since they are getting down with their guests on the dance floor.  What is a girl to do?

I had the pleasure of doing a live wedding segment on NBC Miami today which was a blast! 


I was thrilled to be able to cover the topic of how to plan the "platinum style" wedding for less. After 6 seasons with WE TV's hit show "Platinum Weddings" it seems many brides think they can only have the Platinum or celebrity wedding look if they have a Platinum budget. Monogram Mondays!

This week’s Monogram Monday focuses on an often overlooked part of the wedding reception-
the dance floor!

This area is a simple space to personalize and can really add that WOW factor to your special day. We use a variety of techniques to achieve this element with the end result not only encompassing ambiance of your wedding, but you and your new spouse as well.

Using our signature seamless dance floors, we have been adding a new touch to this customized area. Fonts, colors and design elements can all be altered to make something that is “Dream Designed” especially for you!

Saturday Sweetheart Table Inspiration by Tiffany Nieves-Cook

Why a wedding "Sweetheart Table" you ask? 

This is a great option for the bride & groom and has become increasingly popular over the past decade. The Sweetheart Table, a smaller table for two, allows the bride and groom to enjoy some time together during the reception. This option also allows the bridal party to sit with their significant others rather than at the traditional "head table". At Dream Design Weddings when using a Sweet Heart Table, Tiffany always sets the room with family and VIP tables in closest proximity to the bride & groom's Sweetheart table.

We wanted to share a few of our newest and favorite Sweetheart tables custom created by our amazing Dream Design team!  Tiffany often dreams up the impossible, but our decor engineers always deliver!

Bring on the "Bling"

The table (above & below) was custom made for the wedding of our very own Platinum Weddings Planner Tiffany Nieves to John Cook in April of this year at the Fontainebleau. This spectacular Dream Design was inspired from a Swarovski Crystal staircase Tiffany fell in love with in Paris where the couple got engaged.

A new reason to make Mondays your favorite day of the week-Monogram Mondays! Each Monday we will be showing a different way to use Monograms within a wedding. This unique logo can be uniquely customized to match your day and is the first unified representation of you and your new hubby. Besides your average thank you card, Dream Design uses monograms in various elements throughout the wedding that we will be showing every Monday. This is actually the same monogram used in the menu from the first picture. I bet that is the first time you have seen a monogram for a sweetheart table this way! By eliminating the flourish design, the continuity of this monogram was able to flow flawlessly throughout the entire wedding without looking too matchy-matchy. Dream Design Weddings will custom design all parts of your dream day!
