Tiffany of Dream Design Weddings on Preston Bailey's blog

I stumbled across this article on Preston Bailey's blog this am while doing a quick google search. Needless to say, after screaming like a teenager who had
just seen Justin Timberlake I had goosebumps! Yes, the ever so cool, calm, and collected Tiffany had tears in her eyes like a silly school girl. This is truly an honor as I draw much inspiration from Preston Bailey.

I always look at planning as a talent from all angles: Timely Manner, Details, Education and Knowledge of the Bride and her Dreams(knowing you can make these dream reality) When it comes to a fabulous planner, Tiffany Nieves of Dream Design Weddings comes to mind. Not only has she been featured on many episodes of WEtv Platinum Weddings, but she also carries herself as one that you want to work with and to create everything you have ever imaged for your big day. She is precise and looking at her website with my morning coffee it only gives me inspiration to dream amazing thoughts from all avenues.

We are excited to announce; Migdalia Sosa & her groom NFL Wide Reciever Marty Booker, have chosen Tiffany of Dream Design Weddings to plan their Miami wedding.

It seems when Marty is not on the football field he had some time to do a little wedding research, this story is a first for me, as apparently it was the groom who found me!  Yes ladies, this rugged football player happened to watch a few episodes of "Platinum Weddings" where he saw my work, gave my information to his beautiful fiance, and now we are off and planning. Major kudos to you Marty!!!
Congratulations to you both!

Bari & Robbie

The reveal... A picture is worth a thousand words!

Dear Tiffany (and crew),

I want to thank you for the most amazing day ever. Words cannot describe my gratitude and thoughts of how perfect our wedding was. Robbie and I enjoyed every single moment and our memories of our day will forever bring a smile to our face.  It was truly spectacular.  You are amazing and faboulous. ;-) You helped create the most beautiful reception, it was beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of.  I do not know what I would have done without you and your staff on my wedding day and throughout the months leading up to it.  I love every vender you introduced me to. Without you, I would have never had the most amazing photographer, DJ, venue, flowers...  Ugh... I just wish I could relive it over and over.

All our love and gratitude, Bari and Robbie

And I just want to add.... People are still talking about our wedding...4 months later. Every single guest has mentioned several times that it was the best wedding they have ever been too. You went above and beyond. Words cannot express my feelings... still.  Robbie and I are still gitty over it. Every detail was gorgeous. I still wish I could just look around one more time. People always ask me if I could do it again, would I change anything? I can't think of one thing... Except for the rain :-) and Well ...maybe... why I didn't keep the videographer and hour longer.  Because I missed everyone, my husband and nephew especially, dancing Ugh ... I guess I wasn't prepared for them to leave, Its so easy to loose track of time when you having that much fun. Oh and I would've asked for a "to go" box. I had no appetite that night... was way too excited.  UGH if I could only turn back the hands of time... I hope your wedding plans are going well. I can't wait to see pictures.

XOXO Bari

Happy Planning...

Another Happily Ever After Made Possible...

After over two decades of planning weddings and events I have a repertoire of cute stories, blunders, and behind the scenes events to tell. I am often asked "what is the worst thing that has ever happened at a wedding" or "what was your biggest challenge". My answer to that question is, anything that can go wrong will, but as a seasoned planner my job is to have the foresight to avoid such problems before they happen, and put out the fires when they happen so that the bride never knows that there were any issues to solve, ensuring that her day is flawless.

This one in particular made me smile, My April 24th bride was upgraded from her regular room to the Penthouse suite a few nights before her wedding, her veil was lost somewhere in transit. I received a tearful, frantic call from the bride the morning of her wedding. After having the hotel contact the bellman who moved the bride, house keeping etc. the veil was nowhere to be found. I called my friends at Chic Parisien Bridal where my bride originally purchased her gown and her veil, I explained the situation, and asked as a favor to me, to borrow a veil from their inventory that was the same or similar to my clients veil. After determining that they had nothing in stock to match, in under an hour they custom made my client a new veil and had it ready for my assistant to pick up hours before the ceremony, in time for the brides getting ready photo's.

When the veil arrived I brought it up to the bride's honeymoon suite, gave my bride a kiss on the cheek, handed her the gift bag containing her veil as a wedding gift from Chic Parisian and Dream Design. When she opened the bag and saw that we had custom made her exact veil the morning of her wedding she was astonished and elated. Her happy tears and the smile on her face was priceless, moments like these make my job even more rewarding.

A special thanks to Maureen & Katheryn at Chic Parisien for going over and above for one of my wonderful brides.

Just another happily ever after made possible by Dream Design Weddings.
